Woke is the adjective form of 'wokeness' or 'wokery' and refers to a state of being alert to social injustices around race, gender, and sexual orientation in developed countries. (Anger at how capitalism is destroying the planet is an optional add-on to this starter pack of virtue.)
To be woke often involves the belief that 'male' and 'female' are oppressive social constructs, or support for safe spaces at universities as a way to prevent offence against 'hate' (Telegraph comment articles).
To be unwoke is the opposite and includes toxic pride in societies built on slavery, being cisgender or deadnaming people, and not showing sufficient disdain for Trump or undying love for the NHS. Unwokeness can result in being cancelled, and avoided through 'educating yourself' by attending XR protests or reading White Fragility by Robin DiAngelo.

Monopoly is a classic property trading board game, played on a square board with 40 tiles. 28 of them are properties that you can buy if you land on them, and charge the other players rent money if they land on them after you.
They represent places in London ranging from the cheapest, Old Kent Road (£60) to the most expensive, Mayfair (£400). The 12 non-property tiles are either bad (Income Tax/Jail), good (Go/Free Parking) or good and bad (Chance/Community Chest).
The winner of the game is the player who has bankrupted all the other players, or the player who has the most money and property when everyone gets bored after 5 hours.
Woke Monopoly combines the best of both. Instead of dealing in cash and properties and getting rich quick, you deal in marginalised identities and get woke quick. In traditional Monopoly, the money you have and your luck with the dice determine if you buy lavish Mayfair or languish in Jail without passing Go.
In Woke Monopoly, the difference between plush Park Lane and wretched Whitechapel Road rests on your answers to six multiple-choice questions about gender identity, politics, and Monopoly preferences. The better the Social Justice Warrior you are, the more valuable the property you will land on as a reward for upending the privilege hierarchy.
